Is there any options to upgrade the rear springs?
My 2014 passat has a few hundred pounds of tools in the trunk all the time. I am getting tire wear I believe caused by too much camber and I believe that is because it is sitting too low. The design of the suspension, the camber changes with the suspension travel.
My options that I can find are very limited, air bags you install inside the coil springs, or replace the coil springs with air bags.
I prefer to just get a little heavier coils. Air systems are fine but much more things to maintain.
A few people said touareg springs, will they fit?
Will they by enough to get me back to factory height?
Any info will help, but I cannot find any definite answers.
If a 2014 touareg spring will fit right in and get me an inch or so taller to be back to stock height then it is a simple choice for me. If not then I am considering the air bags that go inside the springs, but they do not come completely problem free. I really just want taller springs. No aftermarket lists taller springs for this car.

Not Touareg springs, but Gen 1 Tiguan springs. Yes they fit, and you can even put Tiguan lift springs...I have them, no the back doesn't get much more higher than before but it will sag next to nothing with a full car.

If you want the lift ones, just search my handle and Passat springs, you'll find the how to with part numbers.

Yeah I found that, thanks a lot. I wish I could get just the rear set instead of buying all 4. But it looks better than any other option.

Mk5-6 sportswagen also work in 12-15 Passat. You can try a set of rear lift springs for those.

1K0511115CT is listed as,
These are European market rear springs for the Jetta Sportwagen with the towing package. These are not the same springs as sold in the wagon in the US.

I wonder if this would be a higher spring rate than my factory passat nms.

They are nearly perfect.
My manual says the ride should be 396 + or - 10mm.
I was at 350.
I installed the 1K0511115CT springs. Oem vw branded.
I now sit between 405 and 410mm.
I would say that is as close as absolute possible given the situation. Plus that is without me in the car.
I thought the ride may be a little rough due to heavier springs, absolutely not, it rides much better on the pothole filled road I drive to work everyday.
I am very happy I decided to give these a try.
Thanks for the suggestions Pedro.

I have just purchased a 2014 Volkswagen Passat and am also looking to put some stronger springs in it... I had my son's in it yesterday and we heard the tires rubbing on the rear fenders...

I never had the tires rubbing but it definitely sat too low. I put in the 1K0511115CT and turned out perfect. Measure your current ride hight. Center of the wheel to the fender. In mm. As I said in the previous, mine was at 350mm. After putting in the new springs it brought me to about 405-410.mm. spec is 396 +-10. if you are lower than 350, then figure the difference. Mine went up about 55mm from the factory spring.
Also check to see if you have a broken spring, I hear that is somewhat common.

I order all my vw parts from esc tuning. I have not had any issues with them and prices are about the same as anyone else. The 1K0511115CT is listed as sportwagon towing springs, esc they are $117 each. But genuine Volkswagen. Aftermarket tiguan lift springs are sold in sets of 4 and from what I read not good for a passat front. The rear would probably be fine but I even emailed the company and asked and they only sell sets of 4. That is why I spent 4 plus hours of research before deciding to buy the genuine vw sportwagon tow springs. Not sure if this site will let me post a link but I'll try.
