2013 Passat Tdi SEL Cleveland, OHIO $5300 sold

The time has come to sell. Looking to get a new car. I have a well maintained (lots of records) Passat TDI

-169,000 miles
-timing belt, water pump replaced at 110k done by dealer
-new in tank fuel pump
-new exhaust valve
-new tires
-3 owners in total I have had for almost 3 years.
-never smoked in
-I only have 1 key
-Dsg serviced this year at dealer as well
Clean title in hand, no accidents


Runs well
Currently has a cel for nox sensor that I can’t get to clear even with a new sensor
Located near Cleveland, OH

Seems like a pretty good price, but why sell? I love mine and feel like it is just getting broken in at 152k miles.

Getting harder for me to find people to service. I just had the fuel pump replaced and had to drive 70 miles for a shop. I don’t diy and don’t want to have to beg people to work on a car. I do drive it roughly 100-200 miles a day and it does great. Hard to give up my 40-42mpg

DSG was serviced at the dealer roughly 10k miles ago.
SEL - beige interior correct. I keep meaning to take better pictures. I can send some

This is a hell of a deal for what looks like a nice car. I’ve been showing it to some people at work but everyone is scared of a little road trip these days it seems.

Thanks for promoting. It’s a solid car. It was meant to be with me for a while, unfortunately the check engine light came on throwing a nox sensor code. The dealer replaced but the code came right back. They told me this is a known problem and it can’t be cleared. Problem is I live in an e-check county and can’t plate it after mid October ! Get this, the “dealer” told me to take it and get it tuned and deleted!

Lol sorry. It does. The Sel is the loaded out version. Fender sound, moon roof..etc. personally, k don’t care for moonroofs either. I usually just keep it closed and the sun out of my eyes .

Here's a video about how it's not always the sensor, it's sometimes a bad/dirty harness. Things can get cruddy down there.

There's been a lot of discussion of the NOx issue, but I imagine you've already been through all that and are just ready to start with a new project.

The harness was spliced in a replaced by the dealer along with a new sensor. The dealer is claiming this is a known issue affecting some vehicles and they have no fix.

I feel you, thinking about selling my 2013 jetta DSG tdi because I have to drive so far for someone actually reputable to fix her up!
