Hey everyone,
I bought another CR TDI with a blown-up fuel system, this time being a CKRA.
I got a CP3 pump for it, as I don't like putting cp4s in these cars if I want to keep the car. After I put it in, I have been getting p0088 code w/limp mode at low loads, usually while cruising or letting off the pedal after acceleration. I put a new metering valve in it, part # 0928400643, as I thought the one on the pump could be causing the issue. No change. I also replaced the fuel rail with a "good" used fuel rail from eBay when I did the conversion. That being said, it could've been a bad sensor/contaminated rail. I'm starting to wonder if the pressure valve on the rail is causing the issue.
Any insight would be appreciated, whether it be diagnostic instruction or anecdotal info.
