Hello all, I bought a diesel gate Touareg in 2019 with the extended warranty. However, the warranty ran out at approx. 125k, and it now has 144k.
Check engine light has come on, and so I scanned it with my basic Autometer OBD Bluetooth scanner and got these codes-
P229E unknown diagnostic trouble code
P22AO unknown diagnostic trouble code
P20EE scr nox catalyst efficiency below threshold
P229F unknown diagnostic trouble code
Can anyone enlighten me as to the issue/ parts needed, possible costs to fix?? I know that sometimes chasing codes down to find the real problem is hard and time consuming, just trying to prepare myself and my bank account for the reality here.
How much worse is it to drive it until I can get to the shop appointment in almost 2 weeks?
