I traded the same thing for my Passat 4 months after buying it. I loved the truck, it was just a bad idea to buy it while I was driving nearly 50k a year. Fast forward to today and I'm looking for an SEL to replace my SE that hit 40k today..25, Passat TDI SEL Premium 2014, this will be my third NEW car purchase exchanging my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport with the 5.7 hemi. Never ever will I go back to a V8 for a daily driver.
Really? I've been seeing all sorts of posts that indicate that the timing belt is due between 80 - 100k. Now I'm confused100k service isn't a bad one. Just oil and filter, fuel filter and cabin filter. 120k and 130k are the ones that are gonna cost some cash. (Timing belt is due at 130k)
130K on the CKRA, it's in the NMS Passat, cannot say the other TDI's some I believe say start having it checked at 60 or 80 and check at each oil change.Really? I've been seeing all sorts of posts that indicate that the timing belt is due between 80 - 100k. Now I'm confused
Yep, I remember those as well. My age started with a 6 last ThursdayOnce I got past 35, I'm always older than I want to be! Still get told I'm in my late 30's or early 40's . I figure they're lying just to make me feel good. I think you can guess my age doesn't start with a 3 or 4 anymore. I remember the day my mom was crying, kneeling down before me telling me Kennedy was shot (the first one), and the day she wouldn't let me watch Star Trek because she wanted to watch Peggy Fleming skate in the winter Olympics. She didn't have her priorities straight! All you people in your 20's and 30's probably don't know what I'm talking about.
