Quick question - I just bought a demo 2011 Jetta with 8900KM on it from the dealer. It has the plug for the block heater on the bumper, but I didn't get any cable with it to actually plug it in. For all those that bought new - was that included with yours? Logically it seems it would be since it's not a standard plug.

Let me know!

Yes mind did come with a cord. Did you check in the trunk were the jack is located? Its stored there when the car is shipped.

I did look under there a couple times, not specifically for the cord, but I wanted to make sure the jack and tow hook were in there (they were). I'll have another look for the cord - otherwise the dealer is getting a call. Have to call them about the curb rash and scratches on the bumper too. Guess there was a reason it was slightly dirty when I test drove it.

Thanks!

Don't have the exact numbers with me, but they knocked $2500 off the MSRP. They actually added it to the trade in value so I'd get the added tax off as well so according to the sale sheet, I paid MSRP but my trade in was higher. Works out to about $0.28 discount per KM that they put on it. I think that's pretty fair.

Nice, yea that sounds like a pretty good price.
