Please excuse some dumb questions. I have done a lot of searching and can’t seem to come up with answers I’m sure they must be out there. I have a 2011 Jetta tdi 165000 miles auto.
I have a fuse box under the hood also drivers side panel behind the door. Is there not a relay box anywhere? There is one relay under the hood. My issue is my climate control isn’t working correctly. The fan turns on and will make heat, but the heated seats don’t turn on, the ac doesn’t light up or work none of the switches light up on the climate control. All the fuses are good. Is there a way to test the climate control switches?
I’m new to tdi and will take any suggestions on maintenance that I’m possibly due for or overdue as well.
thank you

So I found the relays finally after tearing the dash apart. Can anyone give me an idea where to come up with a diagram that shows what each relay is for?

The AC is probably not a controlled by a simple relay. You should run a full scan with Vagcom or similar, to see which systems are reporting errors (or not responding at all).

Thank you. The guy I bought the car from said he had to jump start it and then the climate control knobs and buttons quit working after that. I was hoping for an easy fix like fuse or relay not allowing power to the climate control. To scan to find the issue is there affordable code readers or are you best off taking it to a shop?

Thank you looks like I’ll try my luck at ordering a scan tool. Are these fairly simple for a technology illiterate person to use?
