2011 Jetta DSG TDI - Day one is sucking - WTH?

I doubt very seriously if the problem was because the factory did something wrong....The part failed (defective part) how is that the assembly plants fault....

To those who have troulbe--2011 Jetta TDI has been great/perfect

I came out of Honda Accords for years and after 3 months and 3000 miles this car has been perfect and as good as any Accord I had. 3 months is way early to decide but I can only report the current situation and that is all I have to report at this time. So I think this is more the norm than the exception. Consumer Reports who I have quite a bit of respect for shows history of Jetta 2010,09 and a few years earlier is very highly rated for almost every area on their graph. This car although new is still using much of the same mechanical technology. I think you will be okay.
My mileage is averaging around 45 with no effort to get good mileage and mix of highway and city, with highway being 65 to 70%.
