No longer own one.
I'm thinking hard on getting one of these. Anyone with experience or thoughts on the model? I like the newer 4cyl. E250 Bluetec as well. Whether one of these or a 328d, I plan on driving the hell out of it as it'll be my daily 100 mile r/t commuting driver.
Thanks.

they drive really well but are a much more complicated vehicle that the VWs. So when they break, they cost real money to fix.

I much prefer the 4 cyl to the 6 cyl - much better economy.

E350 Bluetec is a great highway cruiser. While they are more complicated than VWs (thought not as complicated like BMWs), their service intervals are a bit more spread out.

The 2014-6 E250BT is a great car worth buying rather than the E350BT. You won't miss the 6 and it's wasted fuel and repair cost, and the 4 handles better because it avoids understeer. See the E250 Bluetec thread for my remarks on my 2015 E250BT since last August. Favorite is the magic carpet ride through city traffic with the bi-turbo. Car is big cat/rocket sled/luxury liner combo. A+.

E250BT gets 50+ mpg highway with reliable clean diesel emissions systems so no need to worry about emission systems costs.

It's a heavy car. I'd look for the 3.0L. It seemed like a good match to the car powerwise.

Drive an E250BT. The powers there. Bi-turbo makes it fly.

There also are a few other 250BT owners posting on the E250BT thread. Drivebiwire also is happy with his E250BT. Camarones has a 250BT GLK SUV and is also good with it.
