There's a reason for that. Enjoy it As-is, because that is likely the way it will stay.

Haha, there will be plenty of upgrades available, just give it time. Although, I don't think anybody is going to touch the exhaust system anytime soon.

Another year and I'll definitely be itching for a re-tune. I can already feel some desire and I only have 3,000 miles on my car now.

Power Chip - perhaps someday. No reputable company has releases a chip (or tune) for the '09, '10 CBEA engine. The engine management is so tied into the emissions system that significant changes must be tested over the long haul before safely implementing them. This could change in the future, but for now, all available "upgrades" are untested and potentially risky.

Exhaust - not likely. Most of the exhaust system is the emissions control system. You can't change one without changing lots of other things as well.

Suspension - here you have some options. About half the people here seem to want to lower their Jettas and about half the people want to raise them. I gather from this that VW did a pretty good job of picking a ride height, but you can do whatever you want. Springs, struts, anti-roll bars, etc. can all be changed depending on your goals and your budget.
P.S. If you decide to lower your car, be sure to look into a skidplate. Your oil pan is thin aluminum and about 5 inches off the ground. One truck tire tread, rock, or chunk of ice could l take out your engine.

Let the modding begin!

Have Fun!
