Did VW cover it though it is out of warranty?

VW covered the fuel pump at 30,000 miles earlier this year. It has the newest revision pump in it. VW also claims the pump is warrantied with the engine up to 60,000. It is only just out of bumper to bumper warranty not powertrain. Beside the fuel pump issue this is the nicest car I have ever owned. I would even rate it in comfort and features above my old Infinity G35 which I traded in for the TDI.

Once i get the rest it will be happy face. But i will miss this car.
