tomo369, I did not have any choice, I bought the JSW that the dealer have configured and submitted to VW. Can the port installed mat and trunk liner be order via the dealer. or that the dealer is selling non OEM mat
I don't think VW has the kit for the '10 available yet. It's frustrating because in the brochures almost all of the cars have the "sport body kit" installed. Yet my dealer knew nothing about them. Normally, they are installed at the port before delivery.barkleygracie said:I wish I could see a photo of the valance/skirts on a 2010 before I decide. Any chance anyone has them installed already?
Also, is the clear bra for protection purposes?
think about a car bra, we have all seen them they are big black covers on the front of a car.barkleygracie said:I wish I could see a photo of the valance/skirts on a 2010 before I decide. Any chance anyone has them installed already?

If you can get your hands on a VW brochure for the '10 Jetta most of the cars pictured (including SportWagens) will have the sport body kit on them. Of course, since it makes them look more attractive. It may be awhile before they are available for sale though.barkleygracie said:Hopefully, someone who has installed the sport body kit will post some photos so I can see how it looks on the 2010 JSW.
Thanks,
$850? Yikes! Did you have a huge area covered? The guy who did my car does work for many local dealers and only charges $300 to do the whole front bumper. Hood and front fenders is only $150 direct through him, $300 if you buy it through the dealer.RV8 Mike said:I had the "clear bra" installed at the dealer's before I took delivery. It's done by an outside vendor, one who does window tinting in my case, and I think is well worth it. It's a 3M product and I believe is polyurethane. Cost $850. After a few days you forget it's there.
My Lexus IS350 has the full kit...bumper, fenders, full hood (about 1/2 of the hood area), headlights, side mirrors and it cost $600 four years ago. The front ends of my previous cars were heavily pitted and chipped after four years of mostly high speed freeway driving in heavy traffic. I couldn't bear to see the beautiful metallic red paint on my Lexus damaged in that manner and the Clear Bra worked wonders...and still looks good.gpshumway said:$850? Yikes! No doubt, prolly before you get off the lot What else will go into the new ride?tomo366 said:I now have all the part #s and will install them shortly after picking up my new baby!!

there are the OEM HID fixtures available, www.oemplus.com has them. Kufatec has a the autoleveling retrofit kit, but not on the Kufatec USA site.VW Derf said:I'm still envious of the US offerings.
