Fairly certain that the below code of for a bad Glow Plug. Just ordered one.

005079 - Cylinder 4 Internal Pressure Sensor
P13D7

The P2BA6 & P1A58 seem to be a bit more obscure, with no real solution available in the above links. Googled everything and it could be bad O2 sensors? Other than that, not much to go on here. This is out of emissions warranty from VW, so going to the dealer is not a viable option.

My thought is that I can take care of the P13D7, then I can get the emissions to regen. Does that logic make sense? Would a P13D7 cause the engine to not allow a regen?

Just want to make sure I'm coming at this with the correct approach.

Thanks.

There are just too many to list....
There is a TSB about cylinder pressure sensor DTCs, and checking the data blocks while the engine is running, and wiggling the glow plug connectors. You may just have a bad connector, although those have been NLA for a while now (meaning, you might need a whole engine harness, if you can even get one of those).

Turned out the it was a bad glow plug. I replaced #4 and still had the code, but in typical VW fashion, instead of #4 they really mean #1. Put the glow plug from #4 into #1 and the P13D7 cleared. Now onto the emissions codes. Going to try and drive it to get it to regen. Will report back, for those that care.

Hopefully you are aware of the process of properly "registering" (probably wrong on that term) a new injector... they have some kind of cal or grade info that needs to be entered in the ECU for best operation. Info available on the Ross-Tec site...
