I haven't seen much on B6/7 TDI swaps so I'll start this with the stupid questions... and I'll be making a lot of assumptions...

I want to swap a TDI into my 2010 CC. The donor is a 2013 Jetta. Car is running and complete (minus the rear end)
I plan to keep it automatic. The CC is auto and the Jetta is auto. I'm assuming that the I need ECU, Wiring, fuel filler, fuel lines, etc,..
Also,. my guess is that that hard part will be the wiring harness.

Anyone have any experience on a B6 TDI swap? Any threads on the process??

I did look through the site, but my search luck is non-existent. I searched B6 swap, b6 tdi, passat swap,.. etc. I did make the effort before posting.

Search more. Someone already did a CC not long ago.
You can't search the forums for CC, two letter search terms are ignored. Use Google.

There are just too many to list....
A '10 CC might have left the factory with a DSG, so that might make some of the swap easier. If it is the Aisin 6sp automatic, then you won't be able to use anything from it at all.

The A5 or A6 is closer to the B6 that the CC is based on than the NCS Jetta you are wanting to use as a donor.

You might need the engine ecu out of a euro CC due to some missing pins in the jettas dsg auto engine ecu. This swap is a whole lot easier if you're doing a 6MT. But you can be the first to show us how it's done. 👍

@r3gill Like I said,... I'm probably making a lot of assumptions. I passed on the Jetta as a donor. I found a few local Passat TDIs, but they're all Automatics. I'm still thinking through this project. I love my CC,.. but if the project starts looking ridiculous,.. I may just rebuild the Gas engine (even though that's not what I want). I don't mind a hard job, I don't mind investing time and money, but I hate a stupid job. lol
