I have been searching the internet all day with no good results, have also thoroughly searched here. So any help is greatly appreciated.

The low beam, high beam and fog on the passenger side aren't working. I have relamped them, to no avail. The low beam was visually bad (filament blown away) the others could see nothing wrong and had continuity thru them. Once the car is started, I get the lamp out indication on the MFD with the following lamp out messages, rt dipped light, rt main headlight, rt fog light, left turn signal light, right turn signal, and the one for the license plate (cant remember what I says exactly). The ones in the rear that I get the message for are working. Only the hi/lo and fog on right side aren't working, there is no voltage at the connectors.

Has anyone heard of or seen this before? I am guessing there is a vag reset or something that should be done after the bulb is replaced. I can find no single fuse for any of these lights, so they must be controlled from a module somewhere.

I have read about all the dipped headlight problems on earlier cars with xenon lights but I don't have those. Mine are just H7's.

Thanks for any suggestions
Brian

Yikes.. electrical bugs are a nightmare.

I would check fuses first. Next see if there is a module that controls the right side.

Good luck.

have code, "00927 terminal 30 (right) sporadic 011 open", that I pulled with my generic scanner. searched, briefly thru vag-com forum and was overwhelmed with possible causes. haven't had time to dig further.

Suggestions?

Have you checked to see if there is a forum member close to you with a Ross-Tech VAG COM to do a proper scan?

Smoothhd the exact same thing happened to me in December. The lights would work but I would get the errors that you described. I would restart the car and it would go away. Eventually my passenger-side headlight would not light up, I would get the error every time so I brought it to my mechanic and I was told that it was the fuse panel. Apparently the panel had melted and killed two fuses. He moved the fuses elsewhere on the panel.
I logged in tonight because my blower fan is now dead and I'm afraid I have another melted fuse/fuse panel.
I will check the thread above as well.

the VW's have a replacement campaign for this melted fuse/fuse panel. dont know if the audi's are the same. the VW is campaign AM97. seems the crimp for fuse f16 (eng compt fusebox in the aft end) isn't tight and causes arcing, heat, then melting. arcing and burning raises the resistance of the circuit until the power to the light controller module starts doing and faulting all sorts of weird stuff. my fuse plate was replaced thru this campaign for free at about 100,000 miles

Thanks, I will ask about that.
In my case with the blower fan the motor had seized, it wasn't a blown fuse.

Well, my problem went away after reseating the engine compartment fuse panel. Vag had about 50 registered faults with intermittent terminal 30. Anyway, I reseated the fuse panel and drove 50mi to work and that evening on start up everything worked and has been working for 3 weeks, now. The only solid problem I found, was the high beam bulb had blown and looked like the filament was a melted blob.
