Hello,
I am thinking about having the egr deleted on my 2009 vw jetta mk5 1.9tdi bxe pd105.
The car is currently at 330k km and has had an egr light on since 190k km. The mechanic checked the egr and cannot seem to figure out why the light is on. The light can be switched off using an OBDII reader but the light comes back on within 2 days or so.
I would like to have the egr deleted and have the engine light for the egr gone too.
I am asking for advice because I know that the bxe is rated as Euro 4 whereas some of the older 1.9 tdi are not.
