2009 Engine and Transmission Codes Released

ETKA Version 690 was released today with the wonderful addition of the Engine and transmission codes along with their prodiction dates. They are as follows:

2.0L TDI 4V Common rail 103KW (140HP)- CBEA
6-Speed DSG - KMX

Installation dates are 4/08

Speaking of new CR engines: I have just read about the injector adaptation procedure. Basically, the replaced injector needs to be coded in ECU. The reason is the precision of the injected fuel amount and the manufacturing tolerances. Sounds like fun.

KMX equates to the present day DSG gearbox as in the MY06 A5 Jetta TDI's, correct?

EDIT: 3/18/08 Elsewhere in the forum's, the present 6sp. DSG (wet clutch) is mentioned as the DSG gearbox for the North American market's MY09 Jetta TDI. Does anyone else have knowledge to this? . . TIA.

I would hope not. That should be the new dry clutch version.
