Car sat for 6 months while I waited to replace the alternator/AC bracket.
Replaced the bracket, started the engine, it started right up, then died, I tried to restart - it would not start.
I checked all the fuses, they were all OK

I pulled the codes and looking for advice from the TDIClub Gurus.

Is there a special way to parse down the VCDS auto-scan, or do we just cut out the unnecessary?

That was the first think I did, still doesn't start.

What do the following codes mean:

01314 - Engine Control Module

013 - Check DTC Memory - Intermittent

00668 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30

002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

I've searched, but I'm not finding what they really mean or the resolution.

What are your thoughts on using starting fluid?

It sounds like your engine is not getting fuel, so starter fluid would be bad for your engine with no benefit. When I change my fuel filter and don't fill it manually, my car will start and then die. It then takes several minutes of cranking before the filter fills with fuel and my car starts up. Just and idea for your consideration.

Check all your grounds. There is clearly an electrical problem and checking and correcting ground connections could solve them. You indicate you are in New Jersey. They use salt there on roads (unlike Florida) which can aggravate corrosion exponentially.

The "Lower limit exceeded" codes for voltage is likely caused by a flat battery.

Is that the full autoscan pasted in with nothing missing? There's no ECM showing up in your scan - can VCDS communicate with the 01-Engine? Does the CEL come on when you turn the ignition on? (as it should light up as normal before you attempt to crank) If no I'd check powers and grounds to the ECU.

Car now runs Great!

I found a connector that has 2 wires that is in the same wire harness as the MAP/Charge Air Pressure sensor. It is not a factory connector, any way the connector was not connected, once I connected it the car started right up. Does anyone know what that connector is for?

Here is my new Scan Detail - just 2 problems, Radio & Aux heater. I'm not worried about either problem:
