Anything from a MKIV will fit (Sans the rear setup of a R32)

Golf, Jetta, Jetta wagon, etc. New Jetta/Golf City as well.

If you want to splurge more, I went with Bilstein HDs with stock springs. I really like the combination as it is just stiff enough, but not harsh. Way better than stock.

I think I would like a mild drop and better shocks. I was thinking using VW/Audi parts,
Like maybe GTI springs if they drop a 1 1/2 or so and upgrades to bushings? or Audi parts where you can?
The first suspension refresh on my Jetta I used the kit I posted above. For the second at 200k, I went with a similar kit designed for sport springs and bought a set of low mileage 1.8T Jetta "GLI" springs (around $35 on ebay). Unfortunately, they sit slightly higher than the stock Jetta TDI springs. They are a decent amount stiffer so it handles very nice, but looks like an offroader. I bought a set of H&Rs but haven't installed them yet.

Audi TT lower control arm bushings are a nice OE 'upgrade' - otherwise all stock bushings work well.

Just don't get the "sport" TC dampers. I have those on my stock TDI Golf and it's too rough. I'm sure they're better if you get stiffer springs, but on the stock springs it is a bit uncomfortable for me. Wishing I would have splurged for the Koni FSDs. I also did all new bushings, shock mounts, and the TT style front control arm bushings if anyone is curious.
