My neibour would like to buy my Passat TDI and I'm wondering if you fellow members would be so kind as to give me a ball park value on it.
1. 230,000 miles
2. Rocket Chip #2
3. Timing chain delete to gear drive on balance shaft by Forum guru
4. Enkie 18" wheels with new tires
5. aluminum belly pan
6. Transmission flushed 20 k ago and runs well (programmed to sport mode)
7. slight tear on drivers seat (not unusual for these cars with this milage)
8. No CEL's
9. Cam upgrade by TDI Guru and motor mounts.
Here's a few pic's I took this spring....
Car is not perfect with this milage but runs like a champ... I am moving out of country by call from CAM and need to sell soon. Thanks for your input. Please no unreasonable junk replies. ;)

Ok., so no one seems to be willing to venture a value..... do you feel $5,500. would be a fair price?

$5500 is certainly not outrageous and in the ballpark. If I ask myself; Would I go for that deal, I'd worry about the transmission and try to talk you down $500-$1000. Then again, if it currently needs no other work and the transmission doesn't die anytime soon, its probably a good deal.
