saw the new vw tv commercial featuring the 2004 Jetta... in spice red... does this mean that the release in the US is eminent?

GLS 5-speed manual: 20,480
GLS 5 speed tiptronic 21,555
Quick comparison 2003 GLS TDI auto 20845 compared to 21,555 for 2004 GLS 5 speed tiptronic with standard Monsoon and the new PD motor is a $710 increase, minus the $325 for monsoon is a $385 increase. Not too bad!

so spicy red... i want to know what is the fuel mileage?? similar? better with the new engine and transmission? I dream of weeks with out a fillup, and pan-state trips without stopping...

regarding prices..I just want to inform you about the priceleves here in Denmark..maybe we have had the PD's for some time..but I think you will agree we pay a high price.
Right now we have this special offer, VW call it a DK model
a last buy model before the new GOLF5 hit the danish market.
So 16" alloy, aircon...some leather and chrom stuff..
price..I looked for the price on my own GOLF 4 Wagon (Variant) 100PD..are you ready?? 45600US$!!
So everytime you guys buy one..I have to pay for two.
If you wanna check out some more DK prices..look at VW danish web site. www.vw.dk pricelists can be downloaded in pdf.

Wow, thats expensive. I thought Denmark had cheaper cars. You can get the Golf IV GTI 150 TDI in the UK for US$29,700

Wow, if I lived in Denmark, I think I'd ride a horse _ cheaper to run and when it wears out, toss it in the stew pot and recycle it /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.
