2004 BEW TDI Smyth Golf Ute (DFW, TX)

Up for sale is my 2004 Golf Ute. I drive it still and it has 230,511 miles. It has been a blast to build and drive but I need the funds for my next project. Below are the mods and maintenance.
Body
-Single stage blue paint(kinda Jazz Blue-ish)
-New replacement headlights
-Heavy duty Atlas skid plate
-Powder coated wheels
-All terrain tires(less than 2,500 miles)
Lifted(less than 2k miles)
-Vr6 front struts/springs in the front
-Wagon shocks and springs in the rear
Front End(less than 200 miles)
-lower ball joints
-tie rod ends
Motor/Transmission(less than 100 miles)
-Timing belt kit with water pump and tensioner
-VR6 clutch and flywheel conversion kit
-Oil change
-Diesel filter change
-Intake pipe/intercooler cleaning
Interior
-Bluetooth radio
-New drivers seat foam
-New headliner

I still need to redo the bedliner and a few interior bits but it is pretty solid. I'm asking $8,000obo $7,500obo. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Amazing build! Couple of questions:
1. How long and wide is the usable bed area?
2. Would it be possible to mount a hitch on this to tow small things?

jpg_jetta I'm not sure about a hitch but I would assume it's possible. Something off the old bumper shock locations and hidden behind the license plate.

Has any upgrades/replacements been done with camshaft/lifters?

No upgrades to the camshaft or lifters, as far as I know.

What platform was this built on? Any chance you have a build thread? I assume it can be registered/titled?

It's a Golf MK4. I don't have a build thread. I put this car together about 5 years ago. I'll look for some older pictures. It is registered, title and has passed state/county inspection multiple times.

Here's a few build photos. I bought this car from someone that was hit in the back by an uninsured driver. The damage was limited to the rear quarter panels(it was a lifted truck). All the doors closed and open as they should. I looked a long time for a good candidate. Specifically I wanted a diesel, manual, and no sunroof.

Just got an alignment. I also, repaired the sticking relay in the CCM. No warning lights and everything works as it should.
