Up for sale is my MkIV Golf TDI. I have purchased a new daily driver so my baby has to go. I purchased this car from the second owner, an older lady, at 55k miles. The car has been enthusiast owned and maintained by myself since. The car currently has 15x,000 miles. As most TDI enthusiasts know the ALH motors are barely broken in at 150k, especially when properly maintained. This car has been nothing but reliable for me and a joy to own. At 130k the automatic transmission started to slip shifts and knowing the history of these transmissions I knew it was ready to swap it out. I decided to swap in a six speed manual for better fuel mileage, drivability and because the automatic transmissions are unreliable at best. The 02M 6 speed transmission and kit was purchased from Darkside Developments in the UK and shipped to my house where I installed it myself. It has a brand new Valeo VR6 clutch, so plenty of room to go stage two or even stage 3 if the new owner wants. It also has the larger, automatic transmission, injection pump to make it easier. It also has a brand new single mass lightweight flywheel. I have receipts for the purchase. The transmission shifts great and sits under 2k RPM at highway speeds, which is a vast improvement over the AT. I usually get around 35-45mpg in the city depending on how I drive. On road trips I will get 50-55mpg and close to 600 miles on a tank. Great commuter car, especially with gas prices getting out of control. The car has a clean title, and the carfax is included. I am not in a hurry to sell. I am willing to take offers, but please be reasonable.

Maintenance:
Timing belt done at 100k by Fix-Um Haus in Portland, OR a very trusted TDI shop in the area
Stage 1 Malone tune was done at the same time
Fuel filter done at 100k
Fuel injection pump seals replaced at 130k
Brakes have about half life
Oil change every 10k with Rotella T6
Ball joints, lower control arms, strut bearings and tie rods at 100k
It will probably need a carbon cleaning soon. If it doesn't sell soon I will do it myself.

Exterior:
Lowered on Raceland Ultimo coilovers at 80k
Tires have maybe another 10k miles on them
Pictures show the various blemishes
20% Tint all around and 50% on the windshield
15mm and 10mm spacers on the wheels
Paint is in pretty good condition. Some slight scratches here and there
Rear bumper has some damage from some idiot hitting me in a parking lot. Will need a respray to get it looking new again. No structural damage. Can be seen in pics
Rear wiper delete, badge delete, and shorty antenna for the clean look

Interior:
Mostly in good condition
Sunroof slider has come off the tracks and needs to be put back in place so the sunroof doesn’t open. I haven’t gotten around to fixing it yet.
Has Bluetooth adapter for music streaming and microphone for hands free calling
It’s wired for a subwoofer all you have to do is add an amp and sub.
Has the upgraded monsoon sound system that’s actually pretty decent

It looks great. I assume that it has passed California's emissions testing?
