Wow... seems sky high to me, but the market is crazy right now so who knows. Hope you get close to what you're asking.

Mine is a 2005 GLS TDI Jetta wagon with a little over 304k miles. I would consider $10K for it, but probably turn it down. Blue Book is meaningless these days.

Just chiming in from the peanut gallery....but I would turn down a $10k offer for my 02 wagon with 385K on it.
As far as I am concerned, a MKIV wagon in legit good condition is a rare find now.

Good luck with sale seller.

What is an eco boost turbo?

this looks like a curbstoner listing by a new member who know very little about these cars.

I don't have a wagon, just a sedan, and I do doubt I would sell for anything less than an asking price that would generate at least 10 posts saying I was nuts... :D

Exactly. It would take a pretty special car for me to hope for a high price on an enthusiast forum. I posted one on here many years ago and immediately had people telling me I was crazy, would never get that, blah blah blah. Kind of ruined the for sale post. Ended up selling by word of mouth for asking price a week later.

As for this car, is price high? Maybe. But not unreasonable either. I'm so sick of buying cars where people didn't even keep their service records that I'll pay more just to have history of the car included.

I agree with Drewser. And figure that folks that are HERE already have a pretty decent TDI: my car just clocked over 220k miles and there is NO way I'm selling it as long as I am able to drive- don't want new car payments and no used car is going to be as well maintained as mine (and or issues known about).

$10k, IMO, is going to be tough to get. Folks unfamiliar with TDIs are likely going to run right past "VW Diesel," thanks to DieselGate. Fuel prices would have to jump up substantially for there to be a reconsideration. I also figure that, at least in the US, diesels are going to continue to be squeezed: my cars are pretty much fully depreciated, so if they're pried from my hands I won't really be out of any money- someone shelling out $10k and then having this happen, well...

Sounds like a flip. $7k if you're lucky.
