Timing belt was done at 122k when I got the car. The previous owner had the boxes in the car and my mechanic confirmed it was done with a 100k belt service. It has 184k now so about 30k more left on this belt.

Ditto

it should be how far south will you travel to buy the car?

I drove my wagon 2 hours after receiving a down-payment, just to have my time wasted Ill NEVER do that again.
I agree,

I would always drive to the location of the car that I wanted to buy.

And when someone wanted to buy a car that I listed, well they came to my location! this is common sense

I just drove from Chelan WA to Bend, OR yesterday in 6 .5 hrs

If you cannot find another driver, shipping would be pretty reasonable for that distance

P.S> Great food in Bend, at good prices. I'd recommend the Hola Cafe's Chile Relleno and Brother Jon Alehouse's wild sockeye slamon

Reason I ask is that I live about 15 minutes from Canada...Bend is much further than I would be able to drive in one day.

I'd suggest flying to Redmond (15 minutes from Bend) and driving it home. I bought 03 wagons in Maryland, Virginia, and Colorado. Good luck with the local search.

Do you remember which clutch we put in that last March?

It looks like we did the release arm and pivot as well as the rear main seal and transmission oil.

As I recall, it's in pretty good mechanical shape.
