Says it's the "holy grail",.. but I think that would be the 2003 wagon.
Under $3000 price seems fair for how nice it looks.

What would a person have to do to get 30-35mpg out of an ALH/5-speed?!? The worst I’ve ever seen in a stock Jetta was about 38, and that was around town, with studded snow tires at subzero temperatures.
