My .02 on that is yes, it would be weird. It wouldn't be so bad if you changed the entire interior over to gray, but that's quite a stretch... Black would be more passable...

I've never personally been a person about looks. I wouldn't care, so long as it functions. But it would look a little junkyard-ish, and standout like a sore thumb...

Congrats, I was just fishing around on pricing mine and saw yours sold - we picked up an R320 CDI as our primary adventure wagon (soon hopefully to be only car) and I just finished prepping the Jetta for sale.
