figured id start a build/picture thread on my work car so I remember what it looks like when it gets crushed one day by the neighbors dump trucks or catches fire.

some specs-

2000 jetta TDI, just passed 250k. 5 year old 6-speed swap (former auto), 2 inch lift.

this was prior stock height-

the plan is to drive this car for work until something awful happens to it or forever. Whichever comes first

Since I spend a good part of the day trying to park on the side of roads without destroying the car or being killed, a 2 inch metalnerd lift was installed by one drvolks, so far after the 6-speed, the greatest improvement. I can now hop curbs and bull over snow!

Already saved my bacon on a 2 mile rutted mud track out to a new construction site. would have high centered without the lift

how it looks with the lift-

problems I will be slowly documenting.

1- nature is trying to absorb the car from the left front rocker and fender rust process
2- some dents and scuffs that are unsightly, have to be resolved for business purposes, car cannot appear to be a total POS
3- maintenance of keeping the car alive to 500k hopefully and more

Finally decided time to fix all the irritating little problems. Ordered center console repair kit, glove box repair kit, new HD parking brake cables and brackets. Will be nice to once again have a functional parking brake.
