2000 Green Golf TDI tan interior

I have a 2000 TDI Golf 4 door auto for sale that is pretty nice. It is an 11 year old car so it does have normal dings here and there but is clean. 258,000 miles now and runs and drives excellent (driven daily). I will be listing it on ebay soon but figured I would try here first.

All bad I know
driver side cloth on the armrest is letting loose along with some spots on the headliner (does not sag though)

car has aftermarket radio but someone stole the faceplate

has a slight rattle in the front end when you hit a big bump but drives excellent down the highway, not loose or shakey (I was told it is sway bar bushings)

ac is not working now. I checked the compressor and clutch engages so it is an electrical problem somewhere, probably simple but I have been to busy to mess with it.

I will give you my eBay link and we will see. I have to drive it until my wife's 2011 tdi jetta gets here. I saw one with 300,000 and a broke timing belt go for $6200 on eBay with over 20 different bidders. These are hot right now as you know. Especially golfs.

They aren't talking crap, they are just being honest with you, albeit brutally honest. You'll get more than 3k on ebay, but there is no chance you'll get 7+.

I'd guess more in the 5000-5500 range.

It doesn't seem like you've fixed anything. Using additives on a beat up vehicle isn't going to make it better.. just my .02.

Yep same problems as all the 11-04 vw's have. I got nothing to hide. The trans was actually low on fluid when I bought it and now the level is correct and works perfect. Maybe all these cars are junk..... Read the forums how many have bad transmissions, broken glove boxed, airbag and check engine lights and no A/C. Go kiss VW's ass don't rag on me. I have nothing to hide jackass. Someone will pay exactly what they want to give for it when I sell it. My wifes new jetta is not here so I can't sell it now anyway. Going to VW Friday to get the A/C fixed. Hell I may just keep it, I got 525 on it now and it still has 1/4 tank left. Can't beat that.

Well actually ya you can...when the Timing Belt breaks or IP lets go from the abuse it has been given...

Just like the local dealer here with the Golf still sitting on their lot, abused & broken and still want $5,200 for it. GL duping someone into buying it.

The car is properly listed and if someone picks up the phone I will answer any question. I have a list with the problems and ac is being repaired right now. You guys just want to downgrade someone else. That's it... I did not buy the car new so I do not have maintenance records. I do know the turbo was changed along with timing belt. I really do not care if I sell it or not, it is a good car and I drive it 600 miles a week. I was just thinking of selling and getting a tdi beetle? Money talks bs walks...

Wow, this guy is "interesting" I hope he does get that high price for his car, if so my wife's Jetta will be up for sale within the hour, and it has none of his problems. By his standards I should be able to get 10g for her car, even with the headliner loose!!!!!

Hello.... Read my post. I will not list it until my wife's new jetta gets here. It is due mid July. Well I just got the ac fixed, $79.00 pressure switch and front bushings replaced. I can't get pictures to post but I can email you pics. It is a really nice golf, I don't drive junk around. I looked for awhile to find a golf and this one has been garaged it's whole life and is pretty damn nice. I just put my pitts s-2c on the market so I am worried about selling this plane and getting another acro plane now. Not worried one bit about selling the car now but if someone needs a golf it's here.

We're not trying to slag you, your expectations for the value of the car are just unrealistic. A 2003 model in excellent condition with a manual may be worth that kind of money, a 2000 auto in any condition isn't worth 1/4 what you're asking for it.
