I tried to get a picture of it, but it rolled past it before I remembered it. I think it's about time to replace my injector nozzles, but I'm not sure. I love this Jetta.

~210,000 miles on an '02 Jetta. Just got it back from having the fuel injectors rebuilt and the failing OEM clutch swapped out for one with a single-mass flywheel. 13 Michigan winters and still going strong!

1997 Passat. 207K. Original motor eat the turbo at 136k miles. Ran good but at 1 quart of oil per 40 miles it was starting to get expensive. Plus the cops said I could not drive it. The second wrecking yard motor was reported to have 135k miles when I put it in. Other than the door handles & window regulators being crap the rest of the car is original & working. I even put the last original tire on the left front until I get the one that went flat to Discount.

My little black 03 Golf rolled past 200,000 miles on the odometer just last week. I put another 700+ miles on her yesterday, so it's already well past 201K miles this week. Hard to believe that in another week or so she'll be 13 years old.

The car starts and runs like a top, still hits 50mpg on a regular basis, and doesn't leak or use any oil to speak of.

I love the car and I hope it lasts another 200,000 miles.:D

She's a beauty all I ever do is change oil and filters still runs like the day I got her still have original brakes!!!! I did put a battery in her last year

Looking for 500,000 km

Carry On.

edit: I forgot it's just about ready for the 2nd timing belt

295,500 miles on my MK4 Golf. Just chopped out the (Original) old tired ASV for an ALH with less miles and more PSI's in the cylinders, also a 6-speed transmission. Trying to track down a loss of coolant at the minute. The way I'm feeling is if it's HG fail then it may be curtains for the car as it's doing my head in.

Dave.

I joined the 200k miles Club a while ago, I'm now at 210k. 2005 BEW, I bought the car with 25k on it in 2008. My goal is at least 310k miles, then maybe I'll consider something new. Maybe.

I wonder why the timing belt changes in the UK are specified at 60,000 miles. i read about much higher numbers in the US / Canada, though i do see more evidence of cambelts breaking as well based on posts i read.

cant imagine the belts are any different?

For the 99.5-03 ALH engines, the manual transmission cars from the factory where supposed to be done at 60,000 miles and automatic transmission cars at 40,000 miles. When replacing the TB, a kit can be purchased to upgrade to 100,000 mile intervals. 206,000 miles in my case was way over due on a TB and pulleys only meant to last 60,000 miles.

2001 Jetta- I bought her stock with100k miles and now have 255,617 miles. The last 150k have had a Stage 3 tune with stock turbo and .205's. The next 250k will be with a 17/56 and .260 nozzles.

338,000 kms (210,000 mi.) here.

replaced struts with Bilstein/Eibach VR6 wagon at 60k
VNT17, larger injectors, exhaust and cyl head ported a first TB.
replaced one MAP sensor, GPs and harness, N75 valve and recently front wheel brgs and rear calipers. VNT17 failed once (long story, not car's fault)
On third set of pads, new Brembo rotors, and a fair bunch of tires (now running Bizzaks on OEM wheels in winter and S Drives on 16x7.5s in summer)
Other than window regulators and light bulbs, everything else is still trucking.
off road this week for second TB, turbo vanes sticking, may replace turbo. Found alt clutch seized and a/c pulley brg. getting rough.

2002 Jetta TDI, It just rolled over 271,000mi (437000km). I have owned it since 72,000mi. I knew nothing about TDIs when I bought it and for the first 50,000mi I drove it and only did oil changes. I think I was 20,000mi over the fist timing belt service before I clued in to the need to get it done. I got pretty lucky that I didn't wreck it!!
Since then I have maintained it religiously and learned a ton about TDIs along the way. When I bought my 2011 Golf Wagon, I couldn't come to sell the old jetta. So I'm still driving it. I really like the Wagon, I can only hope its a reliable as the Jetta. Nothing beats an MKIV ALH!!!

I recently bought mine. Previous owner really loved this car, I plan to take better care still. Not sure how much life is left but it runs amazing @312,000 miles. Seems as relay maintenance had been done.
