Hi all,
Got a 2004 Treg with the 2.5 tdi engine.
The issue I have is the engine is very sluggish,
It will start fine always but for the first few mins it will not rev (only really slow) and if I engage drive it will not rev at all apart from it moving at idle speed. I have changed the MAF (twice), air/oil/fuel/gearbox filters and fresh oil, injector seals ,tandem pump seal as it was leaking, blanked and cleaned the egr, cleaned the intercooler and intake manifold but it has not improved the condition at all.

Is there a fuel pressure sensor anywhere as I cannot seem to find one or has anyone got any other ideas please as I have been on it for a few weeks and I’m running out of options.
Thanks

Tested it when cold as per your symptoms? You're saying that it only happens on cold startup and then goes away after a little while?

One more output to check.... the F60 idle switch.... if sticky, it may result in just "idle" speed.

We don't have that engine over here. F60 is part of the accelerator pedal. You'll need to search VCDS MVBs to find the correct group to look at.
