Can you take a look under your bonnet around the region of your headlights, look closely for yellowing....

ive done 500k and my white paint has yellowing on it...got me puzzled....i have no idea what its from..heat from headlights??? hellllp someone...i got an appointment with them on tuesday cos i keep stalling...and my cold running is awful...but this one takes the cake.

Are you sure it is the paint yellowing? Sometimes someone in the factory gets a little to generous with the rust protection wax gun and you wind up with wax where it should'nt be. This is no problem in fact its not unusual to find it seeping from your car in various places for years.

The wax is clear to start with and as it sets over time it turns slightly yellow. Dirt and dust sticks to it as well.

The wax can be removed safely with WHITE SPIRITS ONLY.

If its the paint, I dont know but i'm interested to know what you find.
