Neat rig.

A few corrections. The T4 never had side air curtain air bags so unless these have been added post new build, it doesn't have them. Neat spec: ACV, Syncro, LWB, Dual sliders and rear barn doors. It's also possible that this isn't the ACV, many long nose Syncro TDIs were fitted with the AXL which is essentially a smaller VNT15 turbo, smaller injectors and detuned AXG (151hp). A quick glance under the hood will denote which is fitted: intercooler up top- ACV, no intercooler visible, as it's a FMIC- AXL. Some photos of under the hood would help the sale. Probably some details on mechanical history: timing belts, brakes, tires and suspension. In the photos there aren't any license plates fitted to the Van. Is this registered in the USA? Being a 1999 technically it could be depending on the build date.

From the floor? You've piqued my interest. I cannot imagine how these would work. All side air curtains I've ever seen are either in the outer edge of the seats, run along the windshield post and along the roof edge and down the C and D pillars. Would you mind snapping photos and showing? Genuinely interested. I love T4s.

I'm not sure where in the van the side airbags are located. As it is an 8 person passenger van (I have removed the seats, though they are included in the sale) I think German law required all passengers to have some degree of protection in the event of a crash. You can probably find more info online than I can provide you with.
