Hi,
I started this car about 5 1/2 years ago. I ran into a few health issues and it’s been sitting and I am not going to get it done . It is time for it to go. It is in primer but does need more bodywork. Comes with all the parts needed . The interior is black leather. Sunroof is now a sun window .
It is a 1999 Jetta GLS I believe. five speed standard 1.9 diesel 220,000 miles. Power everything. It is bone stock. I did the timing belt before I did the conversion so it has very few miles on a new timing belt. Oil change ,air filter , were fresh. I had drained fuel tank and cleaned it because it had algae in it . Diesel purge done also .
This car been sitting for about 5 years . I would start it up very rarely. I got it out today. It started with a jump , runs great . If my memory serves it has all new rotors pads and calipers all around also .
Airbag light is on cause of seat removal and install . Washer fluid light is on because I never put the tank back in . It does have the dreaded flashing brake light . Computer is not getting a signal from a wheel speed sensor .
Ac did work when parked
but not now .
It is complete enough to be able to drive but is not registered or insured.
