Update: I have fixed the back window and tailgate and installed a new battery.
1999.5 TDI Golf MKIV 4-Door 5 speed Transmission … 240,000 miles on the car, approx. 100,000 on engine and turbo.
The good:
Recently swapped ALH with around 100,000 miles on engine and turbo. The car was a daily driver before the engine blew.
Brand new:
Timing belt kit
VR6 clutch Single Mass Flywheel
All new filters
Vacuum actuator
Lots of new parts used during engine swap
A/C Compressor [Sanden] $400 dollar value
The bad:
Needs a windshield to pass inspection
A/C not currently working … car will come with a new A/C compressor if close to asking price is agreed upon.
It could use some new struts but not a necessity
No Radio
Option to buy with car:
Clean set of 17” VW Long Beach wheels, price negotiable (not the actual wheels in the pic below but in similar condition)
I’m selling the car because this was a project of mine but just picked up a 2015. My two other TDIs are plenty for me to handle … don’t need a third anymore.
