1997 passat tdi wolfsburg - turbo issue

Getting oil in the turbo. Was looking at the linked turbo until I found a friend with a used k03.

K03/K04 Hybrid turbo for Mk3/B4 '96-99 Jetta '96-97 Passat

I'm wondering if I should buy a downpipe or anything else when doing this swap?

I replaced mine earlier this year. I went with a used one from Dutch Auto. It was under $200 for the turbo and gasket kit.

A new gasket and exhaust nuts? You may want to buy some studs, just in case..,, hopefully, you don’t end up needing to pull the manifold.
