Dream car that TDI. The most fun you can have at 43 MPG. Loves to climb the foothills of the Laurel Mountains - Back when gas was $1.05/gal, a few buddies in their SUVs called the TDI engine a theft-deterrent device. At $1.60 per gallon their cries are distant. At highway speed the sound reminds me of well-oiled electric hedgeclippers, could use a taller 5th gear. Gotta add some fog lights: bad lighting, bad judgement and local Whitetail Deer produced a customized front-end. Could use some better judgement too.
