Hey guys, just finished doing my first ever engine rebuild on an 81 dasher diesel. I had a ton of trouble getting the engine and the transmission to mate back up upon re-install. Once we got it in there we noticed a huge gap around the flywheel where dust and debris can get in. Looking in the manual I see we are missing an intermediate plate, but I don't remember seeing one when I was disassembling the rear main seal. I cannot find one to buy anywhere, used or new. Any help?Is there an intermediate plate required? Where can I find one? Thanks.
