Hello all
I have a VW Caravelle T4 2.5L acv Van
I feel a loss of power at high engine speed and the engine sometimes difficult to start
I have an auto-scan for the van, I know the problem around fuel pump since the timing is somehow wrong
here the auto-scan

could someone help me how to inspect it right ?
I remember that the fuel tank did empty once or twice while I was driving and had a friend coming to fill it up for me, could that be the cause of my issue ?
I looked at the TDI timing graph and tried the two acv options given since i dont know exactly what my engine is since there are two acv choices

and here is the second picture

i suspect that the picture one is the right engine

could someone help me how to inspect the N108 solenoid and how to make the timing right

thanks

P.S ; i dont know if iam allowed to post a ross-tech link since i asked them too about the same issue
