16955 DTC even after brak switch replacement

I have 16955 DTC. I replaced brake switch sensor without success. Bulbs are ok, fuses too. What I can check more?

Have you actually tested the bulbs? Sometimes they look good but are actually broken. Check ohms with a multimeter. Might be worth comfirming the switch is good too.

ECU was faulty in my case. After replacing ECU everything is ok.

Many codes won't disappear until car is driven a few times (or cleared with the proper tool). Especially safety related codes.

Today I opend ECU. One of the IC is little damaged by water. Seems like some droplets of water got into ECU. That's what's caused my problem.
