10k service

Just came back from the dealership for the 10k service for the oil change and 2 recalls for the coverter box and wind noise, tire rotation, fluid top off and etc.. car seems to be running just as before hope it stays like that for good and well glad i finally got that done with loving this car

So did you get the driver mirror wind noise fixed??
I just had my 10k service check and they said that no solution had been found yet.

The dealer replaced both right/left mirror glass on mine ( i thought they were going to replace the black trim piece around the mirror but they didn't ) The whistling has been reduced considerably, but still whistles at highway speeds, and more during windy days.

'Just got back from my 10K service. Oil change, tires rotated and full car inspection. Dealer also did the recall for my wind noise. It has quieted down a lot.

BTW, the recall only applies to cars manufactured up to April 2011 according to a friend's VW dealer

i never really had that problem with my car... but the dealership did (fix ) the wind noise issue it is alot quieter tho like the other member said only on really windy days it whistles a bit, and that other recall about the horn module was fixed aswell, everything turned out good and i will be taking it at my local dealership for the rest of the services
