Finally have the 2005 Jetta 1.9 bolted in my 04 jeep wrangler. I am cranking it using the vw fuel pump in a small bucket of fuel. Still have a few more wire to connect and the radiator hoses to fabricate. It will crank and shut off several times before it finally stays running. Don't recall it doing that when I was cranking it on my test stand. Back then I was using the donor vehicle complete harness and ignition switch. Now I have a built harness and a flashed computer. Once it is running it seems fine and will crank back up if I try it immediately after turning it off. But if I wait a while I have to go through the crank shut off for several times. Any Idea anyone.
