1.9 BRM EGR DELETE

Hello I have 2006 vw Jetta 1.9 tdi I did egr delete how do I get rid of the emissions checks ?

It's tucked between the engine and firewall and is a serious hassle to get to it. For very little benefit, since it turns off by itself in many situations. In fact, it can be tuned out working with Malone or Kerma or some other reputable TDI tuner.

Not sure what exactly you are referring to with emissions checks, but if you mean the engine light and emissions workshop message, you will need an ECM tune.

I wouldn't bother with a delete unless I was already in there for another reason.
