ok Mr. nopants will be with pants
say pants 20 times stops making sense at about 15:rolleyes:

It will be cold enough to wear 20 pairs of pants...it would make no sense to arrive without pants...

pants

pants

pants

Oh I quit - it already doesn't make sense!

Hey, If anyone is interested I have some misc parts up for grabs donation pocket change etc...

Headliner from 2000 jetta (no side airbag version) Decent shape.
Driver side rear door both pieces of glass
Driver side rear door gasket
2x jetta steering wheels with some typical wear through on the top
interior light assemblies from the aforementioned headliner
Used vane actuator with stripped locking nut (coming out of car at Ho5G for new one -If I am going to take it out, might as well just replace it)

Wife would like them relocated... I would prefer not to trash them

Let me know via PM . Just want the parts gone...

One last thing

IF anyone has a spare blinker/hazard unit, I would like to get one to tear apart. Switching over to led rear lights and of course have the fast blink. Don't really want to install fat resistors since the point of the leds is to consume less power. I suspect I can mod the blinker to deal with the leds vs standard filiment bulbs, but need a unit I can tear apart to reverse engineer. :D

Would like to make this but still so much to do! I have been running around non stop, and start at Smyth performance tomorrow morning!! Maybe I will be able to bring a Jetta truck (or G3F :D) to the next HO5G?

Thanks--as always--to Julie and Peter for hosting this great GTG! Thanks Lawson for all the great grill work you did!

Krappy was very happy to get some of Jon's TLC--thank you! I will be happy to drive the red Audi to work tomorrow! I am really starting to like driving a car that doesn't have a growing list of repairs... if I could only pass a gas station once in a while.

Great start for 2013!

Another fabulous day, and obviously another bribe to the weather prognosticators for a very nice, (cool, but nice), day to start the year.
Thanks again PV&J

Thanks everyone, I had a great time. Parker missed you all and is sulking. And Jetter, Krappy moves pretty well for an old car.

Hope everyone had fun. I had a heat pump being installed, which was to be done on Friday then they called and changed it to Monday then did not finish and said they would be back Wednesday. Also on Wednesday the Drywall guy will be back so this year is bust. Be glad when this remodel is done and I get my house back.

Lol, Peter... I was holding Krappy back!! My radar was safe at home, so I kept within my comfort zone. Added a couple more items to the list on the way home.

Got back to CT safe and sound about an hour ago. :)

Peter and Julie, thanks so much as always for opening your home to us - always love the hospitality and the opportunity to spend time there.

Great to ring in the new year with friends as well as the newbies that came along today.. Hope to see you all again soon :)
