I bought my first TDI this last fall pretty clean car came with 320km bone stock.
we had a cold snap in January and the car lost boost one day on the way to work so I parked the car till I had time to look at it by the time I got to it and went for a spin it had warmed up and I got boost back. since then it will loose boost and get it back again only code my is a p0652 and it was stored from before I bought the car. so I decided to take it to a shop known for Volkswagens and got them to check out my boost issue, delete the egr and put a tune in it, got the car back guy says couldn't find any boost issues so we tuned and deleted it, car runs great he said, and It did for all of 5 mins. lost boost again, k well I look into it tomorrow, next day fire it up go check the mail short little run but still no boost. come home was gonna grab my dog so I shut it off and went to immediately went to turn it back on ( it was cool out and I wanted my high idle) but it wouldn't fire. so I pushed it into the garage started checking around I wasn't getting fuel out my fuel filter checked the tank for power I was getting power but the lift pump was pushing hardly anything even with the lines off. changed that and a new filter (old one was maybe a month old) got fuel coming out the filter as it should. still no start thought k maybe I starved or caveatted the tandem pump so I have the glow plugs pulled (checking for fuel mist) no luck I did the jar test fuels moving seemingly normal, what's next?
