What the crap? The backlight behind the climate controls has failed in my '02 Golf TDI sedan, though the backlight for the AC controls still works. Any suggestions? Everything else is normal.

where is the \"real empty\" on the fuel guage ? Remember, you can always push a little more gas into the tank by tripping the vacuum button just inside the fuel intake. It will get your hands dirty but give you another 2 liters of fuel. You can actually hear the suction if you listen carefully!
