    Odometer resets to zero at 300k

    My car reached 300,000kms and the odometer began again at 1. Everything else fine - trip and clock kept their record. Has the car reached its best buy date, or what? I have looked through the threads and not seen the same event? Any bright ideas? Andrew

    Remote Door and Boot Opener

    I have now done 93,000 kms in my 98 Jetta and found a distinct drumming noise on smoother (i.e. quieter) roads. Tyre specialist said that all the tyres showed "cupping" and would exhibit this noise. Not a safety issue and the tyres could be used for about another 40,000kms, but only solution...
