I would hit the blue ridge parkway from the red dot on your map. Lots of great scenery and places to hold up for a night. Would put you headed south towards NC. Truck stops and campgrounds make great places to clean up and refresh. Edit: nevermind you were looking for mostly highways🤦‍♂️

I have an 06 jetta but it's not running at the moment, the timing belt skipped a couple teeth so I'm in the process of removing the head. I thought about scrapping it but the body is way to nice to junk it.
