    Instrument Cluster Bad?

I decided to open up the instrument cluster since none of the other wiring tests seemed to be leading anywhere. I took the tachometer off first and underneath i found two spots that look like they may have burn marks. Can anyone tell me what these pieces are, and if they have in fact blown or...

    Instrument panel

Bottom lights work (battery, check engine, glow plugs, seatbelt, high beams), as well as blinkers. No speedometer, gas gauge, tachometer, digital odometer and whatever the other digital reading is. No movement in needles at all, they all stay like this no matter if car is off or on.

Back of instrument cluster, where blue plug goes (not T28, the other one)

Only a few pins? See pic of the blue plug, only one wire goes to it, not sure if that’s correct?

Back of instrument cluster where the T28 plugs into

All pins seem to be in good shape. I did apply some dielectric silicone grease, no change so far.

This car has been sitting under oak trees a LOT

Original owner is my exboyfriend’s mom who lives in New Zealand, the last 8 years it was only driven when she’s here. Had a brief phase at start of pandemic where bf drove it 45 miles to work and then back again daily. Works great as daily driver, but there’s a few things I’d like to repair.

T28 unplugged and in its housing piece

You can’t read the wiring numbers while it’s in the housing, and it was a bit tricky to get the housing off. Only worked when I’d given up and gave it a big tug in frustration 😆 Seems to be a theme with this car
