Just posted a video as it started happening again. I thought it was the tune (stopped for a while and now back). It was an auto before then swapped it to 5 speed and had sb stage 2 daily. Now it has a valair clutch which is noiser. If it's the input shaft making noise could it be the bearings...

My wife's bew was doing the same thing and we replaced the inlift pump and now works.

Update:: Installed morimoto 35w ballast and sure was way brighter. The one on the right is morimoto and the left was vxtuning ballast. the vx had a bluish tint to it.

yeah the projectors are practically brand new. I currently have d2h and there are limited options in the market in terms of bulbs. Would like to try tbe d2s but I would need to get the d2s adapters and will make it a little difficult in terms of space as it will be protruding into the air duct.

I'll try replacing ballasts first. The person I got it from said he has the same setup except he has morimoto ballasts.By the way, aside from hylux and morimoto what are some good brands?

I had thought vxtuning had good ballasts, but probably don't put them in their retrofits. I'll get morimoto bulbs and ballasts. thanks!

my bad. As smelly621 stated 4300k is probably the best color temp in terms of visibility? but I'm sure a better brand of bulbs might be better too.

yeah I got it second hand. Person, who I got it from, says the vxtuning ballast may be of inferior quality and use a brand name such as morimoto. Ive seen some ppl with 5000k and up and it looks way brighter than mine. I'll look into them 4300k and/or better ballasts
